Why are they worth so much?

There are a couple reasons why heritage plates are so popular.

They are seen as a status symbol, and they also increase in value over time so are of high interest to many investors and motoring enthusiasts.

Many of the rarer heritage plates are owned by famous or high-net worth individuals and have got a lot of stories behind them.

What makes one number plate more valuable than another ?

The lower the number the higher the value, also plates with sequential numbers seem to get better prices too.
