Amazing tyres
I have had the cooper stt tyres now on my last 2 Toyota Landcruisers. Each of these vehicles managed to get at least 100000kms out of each set without ever been balanced. They were subjected to every terrain mud ,snow, sand and rock and handled each amazingly.I never once had a puncture or any damage to sidewalls even though psi was sometimes put down to 10psi to get out of very sandy situations.
I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reliable all rounder.

cooper tyres
I found these cooper tyres excellent far better than the original that were on the car when I purchased new. The tyres have now done 70000KM and there is still a good bit of tread left on them about 20% of the distance travelled has been on dirt roads and the rest on sealed roads, I would recommend this cooper brand of tyre to any SUV.

Cooper tyres
These tyres are on a farm ute ,they give good traction in mud , good grip an steep hllls , wet or dry , they perform well on all sorts of roads wet or dry and seem to be lasting well , lthink I might get 100,000 k,s out of them . I will buy them again , very happy with them .

Only suitable off road or rocks
Agree they are a shocking tyre for any tar surface. I have owned 4 sets of coopers. ST, ST/C, STT, STmax. Pretty wrapped by the first 2 sets but achieved only 55K and 60K life. But STT constantly out of balance, poor wear, downright dangerous. Put Maxx s on much better but scallops bad if miss a rotation. But no punctures on any of them which included climbing sharp shale rocks that ripped knobs off 3 of the sets. Deep cuts though that never let go on any of them.

The worst tyre I have ever owned - by a long way.
I ve had Cooper STTs on my Mazda Bravo 4x4 for only about 12 months and in that time they have been, without question, the most dangerous on-bitumen tyre I have ever driven on, regardless of its tread wear. My old thoroughly bald Bridgestone Desert Duelers had far more grip than these. Do not under any circumstances buy these tyres. They are a genuine death trap and unroadworthy at an age - new or worn. I could not stress this enough. You can lose control in the wet at slow speeds, even in a straight line. I ve never experienced anything else like it in my life. I ll be switching over to Toyo Open Country s tomorrow and expect a far better result. The hype surrounding the Cooper STT all-terrain tyres could not be further from reality. As an example, my wife drove the car in the rain the other day, lost control at a T-intersection at a snail s pace, and ended up going right through it in a full spin. Miraculously there was no-one coming the other way and she was unharmed. Cooper ought to be thoroughly ashamed of the product they make and the lies they spin. Never ever again. I d rather walk.

Cooper ST 265/75 R15
By far the most expensive and worst tyres I have ever purchased in my life. I rotated regularly, monitored tyre pressures religiously yet they wore unevenly. I took them back to the place of purchase and they blamed me. So I purchased two more. Same problem. They wore flat patches, yet they go round? Contacted Cooper, they did not want to know about me. Went back to my tyre dealer and they said they would get the Cooper Rep to have a look and they would get back to me . I am still waiting ......for over 3 years. Surely the rep calls by a little more often than that!!! I also spoke to a well respected tyre man in my home town and he said it looked like the ply layers were de-laminating, hence the flat spots on a round surface. So I put a set of cheapo tyres on (Terra Trac Hurcules 31/10.5/R15) and they have way outlasted the Cooper ST. Cooper Tyres are a great big waste of time, money and effort in my opinion.

save your time and money
I purchased 5 new 245 70 r17 STT tires and had them fitted to a MN Triton (used about 40% dirt 60% road travel) and I had nothing but troubles with them. the tires where showing bad signs of wear at 5,000 km so had the wheels and tires re balanced, rotated and wheels aligned. 10,000 km in all 4 road tires had sever wear and the tires where so unbalanced that the car would start to vibrate at 50 Km/h. once again i took the car back to have a wheel alignment and balance. The tires where so out of balance they told me to have them sent off and shaved witch i did at a cost off $300.00. when I got them back the tires where great for about another 8,000 km and then guess what back to square one. these tires where OK off road and a death trap on road. The only thing there good for is a super expensive spare. These cooper STT s are so bad you wouldn t give them to your mother in law. anyone that tells you there good is ether a sales person or to proud to admit they got ripped off.

GU PATROL Cooper STT
I had a set of 305/70 16 STT tyres last 149,200km. These tyres did about 50/50 tar and off-road. Rotated every time I did oil change 10K and ran pressure 50 psi on long bitumen runs and 10-15 in soft sand.Noisy as they aged but stayed square across tread and no feathering on the shoulders. Eventually in sand ruts they kept climbing out with the sidewalls biting.

Cooper tyres are terrible------do not purchase these tyres-use maxxis bighorns great tyre
I had purchased 2 cooperstt tyres 31x10.5r15 that were put onto the rear of a dual cab patrol...these tyres was showing signs of wear at approx. !5,000km and i notified the local dealer and was advised that the warranty assessor would be in contact with me which never happened.....i again a few weeks later returned to the dealer asking the same questions and again was told he would be in contact with me to arrange time to view the tyres...never happened...at 24,500km on an unsealed local road a rock was found to have driven a hole right through the tyres from the top of the tread...i removed both tyres from my vehicle and took the to the local tyrepower store who are the dealers and who i had been dealing with....the dealer as well as him employees agreed that the damage on these tyres was very bad and also had lug sepertion evident on both tyres...after nine months of not hearing back from them i was told just to refit them and run them down and see what happens...i was disgusted with this and refitted the tyres to rims...ii travelled to cairns where i refitted the tyres back onto the rear of my patrol where i preceded to go up to cape york and a lot of places in between... anyway did 3,800 before returning towards cairns where i rock was driven through the tread so i removed both tyres...on returning home took tyre into tyrepower store where i was advised that tyre wasn t able to be repaired ...now these tyres haven t even done 30,000km on what these tyres were apparently designed for and i have been given every excuse known to man and avoided like the plague by warranty people...be very careful as there warranties arnt worth [censored word removed] when it comes down to it ... i am still tyring to resolve this issue but cant see it working out... i have had maxxis bighorn tyres do between 50,000 to 60,000km without antwhere near the same amountof wear as these tyres at 20,000km ....just to let you know i am a mechanic by trade and have ran workshops all over fnq including cape york so i have seen what tyres should stand up to...hope this helps rob ellis

Great tyres
I ve done 40,000Ks now & rotate them every 10,000. Awesome off road, a bit loose on wet tar as are all aggressive tyres, make a bit of noise but not the loudest tyre. I run 32psi on road & down as low as 10psi off road. People doing side walls need to pick their line better or remember to reinflate once back on the tar.

if you want off road tyres
Some people make the mistake getting mud tyres for road tyres it doesn t work. These cooper stt s tyres are really good off road tyres ( mud and sand ) I ve got them and will buy them again but only for off road my street tyres are cooper st s they are a 50/50 tyre. I ve done really damn good off road driving with the stt s

Great Job
I have had these tyres for 12 months now and done 60000K and love them. They have awesome traction on the dirt and have as good a road manners as I would expect for a very agressive tyre. They are a little noisy but once again that is expected. I had some scalloing issues but dropped my road pressures to 32psi and they ironed out and are now all perfectly square. I expect another 10000K out of them before my next purchae of same.

Worlds Weakest Sidewalls
I only have 3 out of 5 of my STT s left as the other two both had sidewall failures, one of them at 110 km/h !!! Besides being useless on wet bitumen and very noisy, these tyres have the weakest sidewalls in the business and are downright dangerous. I WILL NOT be making the same mistake twice !!!

Poor Grip
Worst tyres ever - they re ok off road, but absolutely useless the rest of the time. The compound is so hard, that there s no grip on the bitchumen. If your driving just a little too fast in the wet, you will Crash. They re extremely noisy and the vibrations they produce are borderline earthquake status. Never Never Again.

Stt tyres are awson
Any 1 knocks the stt tyre has rox in there head, ive had a set fuh 3 years now and done 2 high country trips, local trips ran em dwn as low as 9 psi and never blown off thu beeds, or ever had a pucher, they r thrashed and still holding air, they r tuff :) ill be getting another set shortly, there far quieter than other tyres on thu bitumen and grip well in wet weather...
