Reliable performers
For a sports car, 40000 km is very good especially as some track and high-speed road use. After attending Targa High Country, the tyres were “rippled” due to temperature from high-speed use. This seemed to harden the tread resulting in less dry track grip but wear still good.

I'm sticking with PZERO
The extra traction from PZEROs compared to OEM Yokohama Advans has improved the handling of my 370Z enormously. I have pushed these tyres as hard as possible through corners and they refuse to slip. I'm absolutely thrilled with them and highly recommend them.

These tyres have excellent grip in wet and dry. Unfortunately the first set only lasted 21,000km before the rears needed replacing.

Seem to be a good all rounder ride good and tyres durable performance and handling seem to be great but they are expensive road noise from tyres is not an issue so am pretty satisfied with them

Excellent wet and dry tyres with considerable stopping power.
While these tyres aren t cheap, they re not horribly expensive given their ability to stop a couple of tonnes of metal in the wet, and the improved handling even in the dry they bring to Audi A6, BMW 5 series and Saab 9-5 size vehicles. I m not sure they re a perfect replacement for the P6000 s that were my favourite tyre previously - slightly softer rubber without a noticeable improvement in quietness/road noise and trading off worse performance in deeper water for better performance in shallower water aren t my own choices - I wouldn t be stupid enough to aquaplane on the M4 without seeing the puddle, but they re still an excellent tyre at a price point which is hard to look past, given how bad Bob Jane standards are and how expensive the next level up are. There s no real reason to look past these unless you travel a lot on poor surfaces and need a harder wearing tyre, or are prone to getting nails through them - in which case a different type of tyre might be interesting. The Euro variant tyres are the ones I prefer as they ll do about 50,000km, while it does appear that Rod L s review is correct in that some of the P Zero s are designed with a lesser tread depth - this may depend on a few variables so I d call Pirelli to check.

Completely confused
The tyres were fitted as standard. The car is driven gently and has only covered 19000 ks. The front 225/40R18s look to be less than half way through their life but the rear 245/35R18s are basically totally worn and need replacement. The car dealership suggested a year ago that I ignore the handbook s recommended tyre pressure and put 40 in but this has had no effect. On a previous car fitted with Continentals I achieved 30000ks which I thought poor at the time but this is laughable.

Great Tyre In Wet or Dry
Came as standard fitment on the car when new, so far have done 52000K s and still have a couple of mm wear left before they need replacing. One note of interest is that at 20,000K I had to reoplace one of the front tyres as I hadn t realised it had gone down due to a faulty valve after I checked the pressure, whcih resulted in a damaged sidewall. The new,replacement Pirelli seemed to have MUCH less tread than the originals had when new, and indeed will need replacing when the original will, despite having done 20,000 LESS kilometres. Is it possible Pirellis supplied to the European market have a greater tread depth than those supplied to Australia? Overall, a great handling tyre, good grip wet or dry, quiet and rides well

Non Availability of P Zero
Recently replaced all four P Zeros with four new 4 P Zeros a few months ago , was unfortunate to pick up two nails making the rear tyre non repairable .Unfortunately replacement 275/30 R19 tyres are not available anywhere in Australia with no ETA- spoken to Pirelli still waiting for a response nearly three weeks later.

The greatest tyre known to man
Short lifespan??! Excessive wear??! These are performance tyres. This is expected. The grip in these are absolutely PHENOMENAL. Oodles of grip, absolutely ZERO (no pun intended) tyre squeal, and for a performance tyre, GREAT mileage. I had a 19/235/55 on rears, got 38,000 km out of them on an M car. About to replace the fronts at near 40k. Check your pressures regularly, drive properly, and these will last. Uneven wear usually indicates that you have suspension issues or you are not inflating your tyres correctly. I ve compared these to Potenzas, Pilot Sports, and cheaper brands... These OWN them all. F1 technology really comes through here!

Mercedes Benz ML 320cdi
Poor wear
Fitted 4 P Zero tyres to my ML320cdi which are original fitted tyres; at 25,000k have been told the tyres are not roadworthy even though they are hardly worn in the centre. Because the outside edge tread is so thin from new they wear out quickly. Tried to question Pirelli about this but no response. Will be fitting Continentals next time - got 90,000k out of the last set.

Fast wear
I‰Ûªve gone through 3 tyres in 12 months. First time was a puncture that couldn‰Ûªt be repaired. 2nd tyre the sidewall shredded. The last one has about 10,000kms on it and has worn down to legal limit. Yeah I drive my car hard but would expect to get more than 10,000km out of a tyre. Switching to Michelin pilot sport 4s instead as the sidewall is a lot stronger.
