Maxxis Trepador on Subie
Have fitted to 99 Forester for touring tyres, sligthly more road noise than AT tyres but quickly get used to it. Excellant road holding on sealed and gravel roads in all conditions rain, snow etc , recently had a go in sand dunes lowered pressure to 15 and went great, ran around all weekend at this pressure and no dramas. Will claw your way out of mud etc with fab tread pattern and side bitters and look fantastic size fitted 205/70r15 standard for this car. Seem to wear well. After long runs on harsh gravel roads some chipping but feel that I had tyre pressure bit high for temperature & conditions. Overall very pleased and will buy another set

Great Tyre
Fitted to 09 hilux. These have done 55k kms, almost shot now and expect another 5k out of them. Rotated every 10k, probably best to do every 5. Less noise than every other Mud Tyre and they have been great in Sand, Rock and Mud. when it comes to Mud these tyres throw it out everywhere, i dont even worry to go to 4wd, just a bit of momentum and they plow through. A bit slippery in the wet on bitumen, but if you drive slow you wont have a problem. I would buy another set, but im gonna try MT 117 s next. Hope this helps.
