Unacceptable wear
Bought car new with these tyres on it. Had them rotated at 12,000km and again at 24000km and wheel aligned each time. Car has 36000 kms and tyres need replacing. I expect more of a premium brand.

Great tyres for everyday use
They were the OEM on my car. Initial set got me 50K trouble free comfortable motoring. Purchased these, and they are nice, quiet, comfy and stick to the road like glue. Wet grip is one of the best I tried on a passenger car. Would certainly buy again

Best for Mercedes
Great value for money. Rated as best performance tyre for high performance cars. Quiet and grippy and stop superbly. Tyre wear is OK considering the attributes. Wet weather grip is very good. Ride comfort is great. They are original equipment for Mercedes and some other German makes and so will enhance resale.

Conti rolls on
Tyres have shown little wear so far. As virtuallr still new tyres they grip well in all situations so far. In straight line acceleration they have not lost traction and under braking the performance is really good. As I have a small car with a lot of tyre wet handling has been an issue with other brands but the Conti’s have been very reliable and have always held onto the road. I would recommend these tyres.

(5P) Great for cornering in the dry
I have the ContiSport Contact 5P fitted to a 416bhp RWD vehicle. The CSC 5P are HORRIBLE for accelerating in the wet. Wheelspin for minutes if you put your foot down from a stop. Really sucks when you're trying to accelerate in an emergency. The CSC 5P are also kinda bad for accelerating in the dry. Wheelspin for a while if you put your foot down at all. Embarrassing when you're trying to accelerate in an emergency. The CSC 5P are pretty good for cornering in the wet. I haven't spun out by accident, or understeered. The CSC 5P are great for cornering in the dry! I haven't spun out or understeered, ever.

SUV tyre punctured by wood chip
Driving around town a wood chip punctured a new tyre (<5000km) on the edge of the tread. As an SUV tyre I expect some resistance to puncture, but these tyres are very soft rubber and don't appear to resist punctures. Too early to comment on wear. No other issues with performance to comment on. Rating is based on being an SUV tyre.

Expensive but worth every $$
Got these days on my new vehicle and when it came to having to replace the 2 rears some time later I didnt hesitate to go for them again. Absolutely brilliant in the dry. Nice & quiet and give you a good degree of confidence when driving on them. Recommended +++

Continental Contispoet Contact 5
I purchased these tyres from Kmart Tyre and Auto in Launceston Tasmania, for a 2012 Honda Legend .I found them to be an excellent tyre in the wet. Dry grip is phenomenal. It is nice and quiet as well. Longevity at this stage is unknown- it seems to be wearing quite well. I do check tyre pressure regularly. It was very well priced as well.I would recommend this tyre very highly particularly for country roads.

Great tyres for a great price
Purchased these tyres at jaxx quickfit last year when they were running a 4 tyres for the price of 3 offer. They are excellent tyres from a reputable brand. Grip levels are fantastic in my clio sport 4, exceeding the performance of the stock good year eagle as2 tyres in both wet and dry conditions with ease.Fuel economy doesn't seem to be affected however they are a tiny bit noisier than the good years but not by much so I still give them 5 stars, especially given they are $100 a tyre cheaper than the good years

Great sports tyre
Love these tyres! Significant upgrade from the OEM tyres, completely transformed the car. I went from Dunlop Sport Maxx GT 225/35/19 to ContiSportContact 5 225/40/18. Only after this did I realise how much I was driving on eggshells with the Dunlops: the ride was much too firm, and terrible traction. These Contis give me a much nicer ride (going from 19" to 18" probably played a part) and grip much better in dry and wet. Have to push pretty hard to lose traction, but even then stay predictable (unlike the Dunlops!). Seem quieter too. Done about 5000 km now, and wear seems reasonable. No regrets!

Awesome tyre, would buy again
I had Goodyear Eagle F1 run flat tyres fitted on my car when I bought it new. They were very disappointing, two tyres failed and the support from the manufacturer was poor. After a lot of looking around I decided to buy Continental ContiSportContact 5 in a run flat version. They are excellent in the wet. In fact, at driver training, when I was on the wet skid pan, the trainer said I had to drive 10km/h faster than every other person there (at least 10 other cars) in order for the car to loose traction!First thing I noticed on purchase vs the Good Year was dramatically less road noise, more comfort, not as hard over bumps, on starting off the tyre would grip the road (dry or wet) and would not spin (even on dry roads the Good Year would loose traction on starting off), and better stoping. They feel much better around corners and the wet than the Good Year tyres. I have done the same number of kms in comparison to when the Goodyear failed (two tyres developed side wall fractures and a bubble formed) and there is plenty of tread and km's left. Still 20,000 later, they are less noisy, more comfortable, better grip than the GoodYear. Not to mention over $100 a tyre cheaper. Some say the better grip in the wet means less wear so far I have not seen this at at 20,000km, there will definitely be OK to 30,000 and I would say at least 35,000-40,000km.

Good
This is a good tyre. I have change all 4 together. My car wasn't a high performance so cant really tell what the different. But for a family car, it has serve us pretty good and been using it more than a year. Will keep using it when the price is good.

Dangerous during life
Purchased a new Ford MD 2016 Mondeo Titanium Wagon which has these tyres fitted as standard. After 30,000ks of 90% pure freeway driving between Melbourne and Canberra, the tyres still had a further 10,000ks of tread left and are in good condition however they are sliding around everywhere. Can't go round a roundabout at just above idle without them sliding losing grip causing a clunking of the vehicle trying to steer around the roundabout or even backing out of driveway and then turning to drive off. BUT THEY STILL HAVE 10,000ks LEFT. WARNING, don't trust these tyres even if they still look good.

Great in the rain
Just got a full set of these on my car and I'm very pleased with them. They cost a little more but are well worth it. They stick to the road in the wet and dry which was just what I was after. I feel very secure driving with these tires. When they're done I'll be replacing them with another set of continental. 5 stars for these tyres!
