2007 Holden SS

Bought car new. Had these tyres on it. 60.- 70 thou on tyres. Switched to Toyo Proxes 4. Mistake. Took Toyo off and back to Bridgestone’s.
what a difference. Stop in the wet. Stop in the dry. Straight line stability is great. No skipping sideways at speed on corners. Smoother drive.
Anybody want a set of Toyo. 50% tread. Never buy anything other than Bridgies again.

Good value tyres that outperform previous Bob Jane tyres on vehicle by a wide margin.
These tyres have are a quiet road noise feature that I like and its compound rubber is a safer and is more stable than Bob Jane all rounder

Master Traction
Very pleased with the choice of tyres decided to be fitted to a HSV from factory. Punches out 307 KW of power and the bridgestone handle the power very well smooth on highways and Freeways. Would highly recommend.

Great tyres if not ridiculously priced
Excellent grip in dry and wet conditions. I ve had Potenza RE030s on my other car and their wet grip is like hell but the RE050s are heaps better. They are the OEM tyres on my wife s Subaru, which has been driven as a family car and we ve managed to get about 80,000km out of them. It s a shame Bridgestone no longer makes them but we are lucky to get a set for $320 each from Jax at clearance rate. Now my everyday drive has Michelin Pilot Sport 2 on them I d opt for the Michelin if they are priced very closely. Mihelins PS2 are more comfortable and quiter.

Extremly good cabable tyre. I have used these on all types of roads without fail although I havnt done dirt roads on them as that would be silly seing as they are on my SSV. I would recomend this tyre to anyone who has a performance/sport luxury vehical and they cant be too bad if they come as standard equipment on high end holdens/HSV cars. I woulnd recomend these to someone with a "normal" car as the replacment value is right up there past even the best Pirelli tyre in price. I am now on my second set.

Great Tyres
These tires grip and last well considering the performance. I have these on 2 cars at the moment. I have bought other brands by mistake or if I am selling a car, but always come back to Bridgestone. Some say these are noisy but I disagree, I enjoy driving and like to know what is going on around me. I find these quiet enough, some of the worst tyres I have had have been very quiet but given no grip or feedback.

Holden Commodore SSV
They work well.
Have them on a Holden Redline V8 in 19 inch and they suit the car. Went from RE050 to Toyo and now back to RE050. They cost more but the rear end holds on much better. They are quite sticky and soft in the rubber compound so don't have a long life but they do stick to the road which is the most important thing for me with a big bore rear wheel drive V8.

Holden Commodore Wagon SS MY17
Great performer, good value when on sale
I purchased a set for my SS Commodore Wagon, price-beating at Kmart Tyre & Auto while Bridgestone had their buy-3-get-4th-free promotion. These are factory fitted to the MY17 and I like sticking with stock tyres when they're decent value - they seem to be pretty long-wearing if I behave myself when driving, and the wet & dry grip, straight-line or cornering, is excellent!

Bridgestone tyres
Have found these Bridgestone Potenza tyres to be good wearing with a good looking tread pattern. Previous Goodyear tyres seemed to be less satisfactory. Seemed to wear a little unevenly. Will keep buying Bridgestone tyres for the present. Have used Yokohamas and Michelins and found them good also even though they are more expensive.
