Ultra Tune Hawthorn

Ultra Tune Hawthorn — Tyre & Mechanical in Hawthorn East, VIC

Based on Mayston Street in Hawthorn East, this workshop looks after everyday drivers and families across the local area. Ultra Tune Hawthorn handles both tyres and general mechanical work, so cars can be sorted in one visit rather than sent to different shops. It's set up for regular commuters and locals with more than one vehicle to keep running.

Rubber & wheels
The workshop carries tyres across a range of sizes and brands to suit different vehicles and budgets. Wheel alignment and balancing are done using diagnostic equipment on site, which helps even out tyre wear and keep steering steady on the road.

Servicing & repairs
Logbook servicing is available to keep new cars within their manufacturer warranty terms. Beyond that, the team takes on general mechanical repairs, brake checks and repairs, suspension inspections, and car air conditioning servicing. Rego and inspection reports are also offered, covering the overall mechanical condition of a vehicle.

How they work
Customers are given a clear cost estimate before any work starts, and told upfront if extra work turns out to be needed. Nothing extra gets carried out without approval first. For anyone who can't drop by during opening hours, there's a key drop box for early or late vehicle handovers.

What locals say
Regular customers mention honest advice and being kept informed throughout a repair. Several reviews point to long-standing relationships with the same mechanics, plus reliable communication when something like a dead starter motor or a tricky fault needs sorting out.

Nearby suburbs
The workshop serves Hawthorn East and the surrounding local area, giving nearby residents an easy option for servicing and repairs without travelling far from home.

Opening hours
