Great price from Tyre Compare. Tyres are good but not as durable as my previous car tyres. I needed to change tyres after 30000km.

The tyres were recommended as a good quality tyre for our Volvo but they do not give the wear they should for such a high cost, especially when buying 4 at a time.

Value for money
We had these tyres previously and did 80000 kms (4 tyres). Had no problems were happy to buy another set. They were good value for the money.
Great Tyres
Yes so far so good and they are very quiet. Time will tell on the mileage I get out of them but it is a big car and used in the city 95% of the time so it will be interesting on the wear on them going forward.

The performance exceeded expectations - not a single puncture on the dirt tracks, and on the tarmac they are quieter than the Brigdestones. Braking and cornering performance is excellent and it looks like I'll get 50-60,000 kms out of them. I'll certainly use buy them again.Read more

Changed to another tyre and found the 3.0 quattro was again put into hyper drive.
Being said, they were great, fair wear, you can feel the roll in the tyre wall when pushed, the water can be felt under the tyre instead of pushing it all out. Wear is fair, but the car is heavy so it's also too be expected. Noise is fair, you can hear the whirl, but more so when you try other tyres.
A good starting point, but for the money, better can be found even with Pirelli.Read more

The all season verde are an exceptional tyre in the wet and dry. I feel comfortable that my wife in the family runabout is now on a grippy tyre.
Added comfort in the run flat technology of these tyres as well, if she gets a flat on the freeway, she can safely continue at a lower speed to the next exit and safely exit the freeway before getting out to inspect and call roadside assist.
Had 4 fitted and balanced with wheel alignment for under $900 at budget tyres in Oxenford on the Gold Coast. Small price to pay for the extra safety.Read more

The change in the behaviour and feel of the car was awesome. My car does about 10-20% of its life on Aussie dirt roads and some dirt and gravel grip is essential. These tyres are really good on loose gravel dirt roads, not tending to wander around like the earlier tyres and keep the car straight. Since early days I will update as the tyres wear a bit. Could have squeezed a few more thousand kms out of the Yokos but changed early due to a good deal on the Pirellis. No surprises so far. They look good. Nice ride & fairly quiet. Feel / sound very similar to the Yokohamas which we were fairly happy with. Bought these hoping for more kms & extra safety in wet. We go to the snow a couple of times each year, often driving into Guthega, so an all season tyre was important, but still wanted something with good performance on bitumen, where we do most of our driving. Will update the review when we have driven on them for a longer time, hopefully they don't disappoint.Read more

Cuts, abrasions and chunks were all visible on the tyres, looked like foam rather than rubber. If you've seen how foam wear then you will know what I mean.I can't in all honesty recommend these particular "Green" tyres to anyone as I suspect inconsistency in the rubber compound (with other additives) and inferior composition. It's fine to sell a tyre as "green" but you also need to tell the truth about possible disadvantages, instead of stroking people's ego and telling them they are saving the earth. You will waste your money on these tyres, get a non-green tyre instead. Pirelli, shame on you for not responding to any of my emails, not even wanting to see photos of the tyres, I would have though this is a safety issue for you to investigate in future green tyres. Obviously nobody cares, so consumers must be weary.Oh year, when you ask the retailers about this tyre, they say there is no difference in the wear/safety of green and regular tyres. This can't logically be true, misleading consumers. Green buyers beware.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!

Noise can be an issue on some surfaces but that could be the vehicle. Main issue is chunking and feathering of the tread rubber on the front of the vehicle as though we've been driving on cut glass. It is a nice looking tyre but in my opinion, these tyres do not live up to the Pirelli s name. To be fair, the tyre is relatively quiet and it brakes confidently in the dry and wet, but the M-class is engineered to do that. It is a big and heavy SUV, so there is no expectation it will corner like a sports car. The SUV tends to understeers around corner and it is unsettling experience if there is a mid corner bump. I find the driving experience more pleasant by going slower and just float around the corner. I have changed to Continental SportContact5 SUV, so it will be interesting to compare. The reason for the change is because I noticed a longitudinal (circumferential) split in the middle tread of the Front Left tyre, and blocks of the rubber tread are peeling off, revealing the fabric banding underneath. This is a bit shocking and I have never seen anything like this! To be fair, the tyre is at the end of its life (~2mm) but quality control may still be lacking. Layering of rubber can also be seen, it is like the vulcanising process was incomplete. My biggest gripe with this tyre is the poor mileage. With only 29,300km in two years of sedentary driving, it leaves a negative impression on me. I would stay clear of this tyre in this size. Also, do check the EU tyre label: It is a Verde or green EcoImpact tyre, but with a E rating, this is more of a marketing embellishment than real-world low-rolling resistance champion. Nonetheless, I am averaging 10L/100km primarily in city driving, which is not bad for a 2.5 ton SUV.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!

Due to the uneven wear, the tyre place advise to get car checked with Hyundai in case something is wrong with the drivetrain. The tyres have worn like the bottom of an M across the tread. BTW on asphalt are excellent as well. Surprisingly cheap @ BJ Tyres about $190.Read more

I suspect they have traveled around 40 to 60 000ks over a 3 to 4 year period and are due for replacement. Driving in the last 2 years, 30 000 ks has been primarily on good bitumen with a few turns on unsealed roads of varying condition (probably no more than 300ks total). We have had no issues with grip in the wet. Noise can be an issue on some surfaces but that could be the vehicle. Main issue is chunking and feathering of the tread rubber on the front of the vehicle as though we've been driving on cut glass. Alignment (had it checked) seems fine and wear is otherwise even. The side walls also have a perished look about them.I am now going to try the Cooper CS5. The specified tyre size ... 235 60R 18 limits choice a bit.Read more

They have lasted 20,000km and have about another 2,000 km until replacement. Had the car wheel aligned today as it was drifting and found the alignment was fine. Due to the uneven wear, the tyre place advise to get car checked with Hyundai in case something is wrong with the drivetrain. The tyres have worn like the bottom of an M across the tread. These are apparently a Green tyre but have bad reviews all over the internet. Thought Pirelli would be a good brand.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!
