Best tyres I have ever had
I am reading reviews about this tyre and I can t believe it has been given a bad wrap.I couldn t give a crap if you were a professional driver or a race car driver, on the road these tyres have been incredible.I am a Mum,I drive my kids to the school bus stop 24km every morning then 24km in the afternoon to get them.I drive to sports that take me every where and in the wet they are a lifesaver. My husband took my car for a spin to test the tyres and couldn t make it spin or slide out in the wet full stop. The car stops on a dime. I drive to get the kids on a winding, hilly country road,It s a tar road like all other roads but if I ve been running late and my car is a v8 I won t incriminate myself of the speed I get up to but it sticks to the road like a magnet does to your fridge.On a dry road say no more,they grip and stop like no other.My oldest son did go cart racing then on to v8 racing and he took my car for a spin when I told him how much I loved the tyres. I could smell the car when he got back & knew he gave it a bit but now they are the only tyres he has had on his car since he needed knew ones,what does that tell you?...Sounds bad but I am 3 months short of having these tyre on for 2 years.I rang tyre power for a fitting for 4 next week and they can t believe I ve had them this long they just lasted forever. Admitedly you can see the canvas on the back now....You can t go wrong with these tyres!

Deadly
These are the most dangerous tyres I have ever driven on in my 20 year professional driving career. I had two put on the front of a front wheel drive car. They are positively dangerous in the wet. Considerable under-steer under normal driving conditions. On the highway at 100kph the car is not stable. They are coming off after on 1 drive in the wet and going in the bin.

Good as gold mate
I purchased these tyres based on a review from another person on this website and have no regrets. I don t really know much about tyres however mine are lasting forever and I hardly ever put air in them. They seem like a really decent quality tyre for a decent price.

Best tyre ever bought.
The original Bridgestone 45/215 tyres on my 2009 Subaru Liberty were both harsh and noisy. Wore out around 22,000. My tyre dealer suggested Federal FD2 s as the best replacement. (I went in after KHUMO tyres, which I had on several previous cars). I went with their advice. After fitment it was as if the rear of my wagon had been cut away and did not exist. Unbelievably quite. I would estimate that I have given away about 5% of handling, but gained several hundred % for ride comfort and quietness. Much better in the wet that the Bridgestones as well. I have done 20,000 and the tyres look like new. Perfect even wear. I have just ordered a new 2012 Liberty wagon which has Yokohama AVAN A10. My daughter had them on her Lancer. Unbelievably noisy. I will be getting them traded in immediately on a set of the FD2 s.

Federal Formoza FD2 tire failure at < 5,000 miles
Put Federal Formoza FD2s on the front of my GS350, a rear-drive car. The size is 245/30R20. They were always noisier than the Pirellis they replaced, which I chalked up to being a cheaper tire. However, last night the inner sidewall of one of the tires blew out after 4,800 miles. I ve never had a tire blow out before this. In addition to the tire blowing out, the wheel was also damaged from scraping on the road. I have yet to hear from Federal about what they intend to do to remedy the situation. Given the above experience of belt-separation by the gentleman with the similarly low-profile 245/35R20 tires, as well as experiences like this: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?2165887-PSA-Federal-Tire-Blow-Out I am beginning to think that Federal should stay out of the low-profile tire business.

Holden Calais
Tyre failure
Have these in 245 35 20 on my Calais. Car is pampered but disappointed to find a rear tyre suffered belt separation which buldged and caused horrendous vibrations. It just suddenly failed driving along the highway. Tyres had plenty of tread left so cannot explain cause of failure my thoughts are just poorly made

Terrible tyre changed them immediately. Very poor dry grip
I had the Federal Formoza installed 2 yrs ago on my Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. The car, which is AWD, has had virtually no grip on dry condition corners at speed limit. The tyres felt extremely floaty and lazy. Went back to my tyre fitter and now have a much more expensive performance tyre on. Will never buy again.

2010 Ford falcon xr6
good value tyre
Have just taken these tyres off my fg falcon xr6 which have travelled 70000 km. I think thats good value and also performs well in the handling department and the road noise is at a acceptable level overall a good tyre for the price they are asking . getting quotes for there replacement. 195.00 each fitted.

2013 Holden Cruze equipe automatic
They were on the car when I bought it
The Federal tyres were on my car when I bought it 6 moths ago.They are on the front off my Holden Cruze equipe .So far I cant fault them.They give good traction and steering in all conditions are are silent .My rear tyres are Good year efficient grip and are now worn down to the wear bands.I intend to replace them with the Federal tyres so that I have 4 tyres alll the same on the car.The Federal tyres are cheaper than the Good Year and have a better tread in my opinion.I will then put the new tyres on the front because the Cruze is front wheel drive.
