Can a broken car mirror be repaired, or does it need replacing?
It depends. If only the glass is cracked, we can often replace just the mirror glass. But if the housing, motor, or wiring is damaged, the complete mirror assembly usually needs replacement. In many cases, a full mirror replacement is more economical than pulling apart a damaged mirror assembly.
