Noisy and vibrations through steering - Subaru Forester
The dealer duped me and stuck the pair on the rear saying latest research suggests putting new tyres at the rear prevents oversteer. When it came time to rotating them to the front they were noisy and I started feeling vibrations through the steering. The tyres are no good and I will be replacing them with something else. Bought from Bob Jane T-Marts and it is interesting as I am noticing a trend with other more recent reviews stating similar issues all being purchased from Bob Jane.

Great tyre
Had these last nearly 40K on a very torquey VW Golf. They are very quiet and grippy. I am especially impressed but their wet weather performance. Have driven through some fairly bad weather with no problems and no ESP lights flicker. I bought another two a few weeks ago. Have only had Pirelli's but these are better than the old stock P7's.

Not happy with the Pirelli Cinturato P1.Very noisy.
When I had the brake pads replaced on my car,I asked the mechanic if the noise was coming from the tyres. He said the back tyres were feathering, and tyre pressure was wrong.I went back to Bob Jane where I had the tyres fitted to check the tyres. They said the tyres were good and the tyre pressure of 38 psi was right, which they recommended.I was told by another mechanic that 38psi was too high, which could cause the feathering.I have reduced the tyre pressure to 34 psi but the roar from the tyres is still there. The tyres were a bit noisy from the beginning but they are getting worse.I would not recommend them to anyone.

Bad wear Very Noisy
Bought a set of P1 for an Aurion. After 25k and normal rotation I now have a very noisy I believe a faulty tyre. Bought from Bob Jane T marts Plympton SA. Having spoken to a representative from Pirelli and getting the brush off from Bob Jane T Mart, next move is the Consumer Ombudsman. Not happy at all.

245/35r19 On Falcon modified G6E Turbo
I am about to put a second set of these on my car today. They are a very quiet tyre and grip well wet or dry. I have done 45k with some spirited driving (with 280kw at the wheels) and they still grip well even thou they are on the tread depth indicators. Much better than the original Dunlop's which I had two sets of, as the Dunlop's wore quicker, made lots of road noise and tram tracked very badly. I liked these because they are quiet on the road (which is important on highway trips) they grip well, wear well on a heavy car and don't tram track like directional tyres.

Great in the wet. the ride is a bit firm.
Very good tyre. Travelled 20,000km on a variety of hard surfaces and the tyres feel very attached to the road in both dry and very wet conditions. Would I buy them again? Probably not. Great tyre but they do ride a bit hard. I'll probably go back to the Michelin xm2

Pirelli Cinturato P1 225-45-18 : Mits Magna VR-X 165kw 2003
Once my Bridgestone Turanza ER300's 225-50-17 worn off after 50000k running, installed 4 Pirelli Cinturato P1 225-45-18 's and used for over 3months and what a great performance, grip in both wet and the dry roads is great and no tyre noise at all. Great feel on the steering and breaking is excellent. I usually keep the correct air pressure and hope this set of tyres will do more than 50k on my Magna.

Great bang for buck
I have had these on the rear only of both our cars (long story why) and have been pretty impressed with them. Whilst I am no longer a "spirited" driver I do have a circuit racing legacy and wont have bad tyres on my cars. Paramount for me is wet weather grip and braking. I definitely corner harder than the average driver especially in the wet and these tyres have behaved really well, predictable and stable with good resistance to aquaplaning. One set was on one of our cars already and the other pair 235/45/17 cost $135 pricematched from Bob Jane. Don't forget with tyres to ring around, tell them you are doing it too and ask for their best price and don't be afraid to go back to your local place and tell them that you would rather give them the business if they can match the price. you will save $$$$. remember also that it may pay you in time and fuel to go to a closer shop for a couple of extra dollars.

Great replacement for OEM Pirelli P6000's
I had the OEM P6000's on my Jaguar X-Type and I needed to replace all 4 tyres (205/55R16). I decided to stay with Pirelli, and the choice came down to P7's or the P1's. I went with the P1's after reading a few reviews, and I'm very happy with the decision. On the Jag (2.5l AWD) they tyres are perfect for the chassis of the car, and have not given me any cause for concern, wet or dry. I'd recommend them for anyone who need a lux/touring tyre.

They take some punishment & just keep on going
I put these tyres on my AUII Falcon (215/60r16) about a year & a half ago & have had no problems at all. I replaced a set of Starfire RSC 2.0 tyres (made by the Chinese subsidiary of Cooper) which, although had full tread, quite responsive & were put on right before I bought the car, I could only put up with them for about three months before deciding they had to go after realising they just did not hold on in any sort of mildly wet weather. I decided to dabble more in the top shelf tyre variety as I don't often do that & thought the Pirelli P1 looked good & meant the business. In that time they have copped some harsh driving conditions, driving behaviour & a heavy dose of wet weather & they performed beautifully in all categories. I also noticed they are quite a bit quieter than the Starfire tyres were.In all, I find them to be tough, durable, sticky in wet or dry, quiet, comfortable & so far long wearing. I've travelled approximately 20,000km with them & there still isn't any real tread wear. Very impressed.

Seem To Be living up too there name!
only had these for 2 weeks, had 2 rainy days in that time frame, i did have bridgestone turanza's on the rear of my wagon wich were worn.. couldn't decide what tyres to get. after reading some reviews on productreview, com.au i whent with 2 of the perelli p1 205/65 r15 tyres.. seem to be doing ok in both wet and dry, thay do tend to slip on white lines/painted suface's, and are abit bumpy ( probably because thay are new tho )

Surprisingly good tyres
Handles well and responsive steering, feels just right not too firm and certainly not soft and squishy. Good grip in wet and dry. Similar price to other brands in that range (15") so can recommend. Reasonable treadwear rating so expect them to last a while and good looking tread pattern as well.

Back to Pirelli
Used Pirelli P3 tires in the past on SAABs and found them fantastic in the wet and dry conditions. Recently bought a New Ford G6E that had mismatched tires that were a standard Ford issue. 2 Dunlop Super Max on the front and 2 Good Years on the back. Terrible mix. After having the car for 15 months, decided to change all 4 tires to Pirelli Cintuarato P1. Been driving on them for 3 weeks now, what a difference... so quiet and responsive. Not concerned that they are a soft tire and may require earlier replacement.

Stop looking at others
Great all round tyre, would not consider another for replacement. Had all other brands and types, not any more. This tyre would have to be the best wet weather tyre I have ever used in a passenger tyre, no aqua planing no matter the depth if puddles I've hit.Dry driving is really quiet, no squealing, superior grip.
