Perfectly matched
When I purchased the BMW 2 years ago it had Dunlop tyres which were ok I thought. They did not suit the car as I found out once I changed to Continental and experienced how the car should feel. Great tyres.

Continental Sport Contact 3 - Renault Clio Sport
I selected these after significant research into wear, road noise and grip. These are the OEM tyre for Clio Sport 197's and are an excellent choice to take full advantage of the stiff Clio chassis. I am very happy with these as they have very low road noise, even wear and superb levels of wet and dry grip. They are lasting about 40,000 km per set, which is very good considering the compound. Use is daily, with no track or racing, but with 'spirited' driving and cornering.

should not buy these tyres
felt uncomfortable driving with these tyres in the wet. When braking, it did not stop immediately but slipped a bit further and was not on the road track. I would not recommend anyone buying these tyres.

Continental true their name , they dont give a continental
Purchased 4 x 245,35,R19 - Conti Contact 3 in August 2016, for Ford FG XR6,Tyre pressure as per manufacturer 38 > 40 PSI. Feb 2017 noticed inside back wheels tyre wear, front tyres perfect, car traveled only 18,000 km, Continental Tyre rep would contact me to investigate, now late March still waiting, so i contacted Continental Office in my state of Vic, tyre technician explained how they are made, how fast they could be driven, had no explanation of why rear tyres would be wearing out, compared to the front tyres which are perfect & he could not make a decision on behalf of Continental. Will not purchase this brand anymore & have advised all my family, friends & customers of my experience with Continental, they dont give a Continental

Surprisingly poor wear on front tyres
Similar experience to other reviews re wear. Good tyre but only lasted around 16,000 km. I think the issue is the car itself as the rear tyres are OK and will probably last another 16,000 km. Car sales personnel never give you the full picture when it comes to the cons.

Ditto
This exactly describes my experience on my new Superb 3. Makes driving a long distance unbearable. Took my local Skoda dealer technician for a drive and he was unable to offer any advice other than to say he could hear nothing mechanically wrong. Going to change them for another brand after only 800 miles!

Lots of Grip but terrible durability
As mentioned, these tyres were great for the first 10,000 kms but become increasingly noisy as they begin to wear. I m now having to replace all 4 tyres after 30K. Tyre pressures are regularly checked and maintained as I spend a lot of time driving to and from work - mostly freeway driving (so straight lines). These tyres came factory fitted to my Audi A4 Quattro. 255/35/19 Shocking durability - at an equally shocking price. Will not be replacing them with Continentals.

Great Tyre
I have to say that I am surprised at the comments relating to poor tyre wear. I have clocked approximately 53.000K on 265/30 20 tyres, and I believe that I will get around 60,000K before they need replacing. I have also towed a small van over the last three years with no issues. The only negative comments I have relate to punctures (4 so far), and the local Tyrepower store said that its related to the low profile and not the tyres. Also, now that they are getting low on tread, a bit noisy. Overall, very happy and would consider getting another set. In particular, as I can get them online for under $400!.

2015 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0 TFSI and 20,000km on the clock and tyres that noisy I took car to check for a wheel bearing. Tyre delaminated and rest buggered. Not too happy given other (and much cheaper) brands have lasted twice as long, and some. Be looking for something else

A Really Good All Round Tire
I purchased a set about 10,000km s ago for my Saab 9-3 Aero which has 17 alloys. Previously I had Pirelli Cinturato P1 s and the comparison between the two is day and night. They are so much quieter and the grip is fantastic no more TCS light when I go round a corner in the rain. My main decision for purchasing came from recommendations from other Saab drivers and the experiences I had with the Tire s on my Mum s 2012 Ford Focus Sport which again gripped like crazy and she had those tires on it for about 45-50,000km s from new. For me we ll just have to see how long they last considering 9-3 s chew through front tires.

Worst tyres ever!
How does Continental even exist with such terrible and unsafe tyres on a sports car? The tyres on my car barely lasted 16,000 kms (235/40 ZR 18). I ve now had to fork out another $800 on tyres. This is simply criminal. Continental should have warning stickers on their tyres advising consumers that their tyres only last x amount of kms. Really, really annoyed with Continental - never again!

2003 Ford XR6 Turbo Falcon, stock
5 out of 5
Great grip and decent wear, but dont pay a premium price, coz there are sexier tyres out there :-)
I m putting this positive review on here to balance some of the negative ones, because I had a very good run with these tyres. Don t forget that people with something to complain about make much more noise than satisfied customers. I had two Contact 3s on the front of my 2003 BA XR6 Turbo Falcon for about 3 years (size 235/35/17, on stock rims), and I reckon they had great grip in both wet and dry, and I also found them to be reasonably durable for a low/mid-range performance tyre, getting just over 30,000km out of them. I m not a rev-head at all, but I did give the throttle plenty of squirts, because it s the first car I ve owned with some decent power. I didn t notice any noise issues, but I suppose a 2003 Falcon is hardly a quiet, luxury car, so the regular road noise from this vehicle might ve drowned out any tyre noise. I had no sidewall problems. I could ve used the tyres longer, because it was only the outer tread that was starting to wear low, but I spotted a good deal on some Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 tyres that I didn t wanna miss. I would ve happily bought more Contact 3s; I mostly got the Bridgestones just to try something different, and because they look a bit better with slightly squarer sides and a more sporty-looking tread. Having said all that, I don t think the Contact 3s are worth more than $230/$250 in this size (17-inch), mostly because there are always better deals out there. I haven t noticed much difference at all between the Contis and the Bridgestones; perhaps the Bridgestones felt a bit softer when I first got them, but that s probably due to switching from worn tyres to new ones with a full tread. No noise difference.

Terrible Tyres
These tyres were factory fitted to my 2015 Audi A4 2.0TFSI Quattro and initially very good but then excessive noise. I had my first car service and raised noise issue with Audi as I thought it must be an engine issue only to be told the tyres are worn out, only after 15,000kms!!!!, and they are the source of the excessive noise. 15,000kms is totally unacceptable as I drive my car under normal conditions. Very disappointing and the noise is unbearable........never again Continental
